Caldarium
What the Romans ever done for us, eh? Well.....in ancient Roman times, the Caldarium, meaning hot room, was the heart of the spa, with its under-seat heating and steam injection - a mix of high humidity and radiant heat up to about 50°C. The gentle care and regeneration of skin and hair as well as relief to the respiratory system, are among the greatest benefits of the Caldarium. |
